Fors Arkitekter is a Danish-Swedish architecture practice founded by Sofia Fors, working across architecture and landscape.
We create buildings and spaces rooted in the particular qualities of a place. Building and landscape are developed together as one, creating environments that strengthen connections between people, place and nature.
Our work spans from small-scale landscape interventions to housing and larger public buildings, with a particular focus in places for community. Across scales, we explore how architecture can extend beyond the building itself - creating stronger relationships between inside and outside and new possibilities for how people meet, move and experience their surroundings.
We work across all stages of a project, from early concepts to realisation. Projects are developed in close dialogue with clients, users and specialists, shaped by the particular needs and possibilities of each place. As a small practice, we offer close and direct involvement throughout the process. For larger and more complex projects, we draw on a broad network of specialists according to the needs of each project.
We look forward to hearing about your project and exploring what we could create together.
